What has EB5 to do with amway?
Did I mention I'm making millions? Obviously on the way, but atleast I have something to fall back to if I loose my job. Do you?
Sure EB5 has to do. The Amwayers and Quicksteres claim to have entrepreuners and also claim to make millions (just like you are on your way to make millions). These are the two things required to get a GC in EB5. So if you are just reacing millions you should definitely plan for EB5 GC freeing up one valuable EB3 spot :rolleyes:

I just saw within Half an hour my rating points went down from 3000 to just 500...
Who esle have the time on earth to keep reducing my points apart from the person who has previledge to do it...

For most of the ppl with hateful comments, Reality sucks and bites back. I agree with dilip and unfortunately, among billions voices and opinions dont matter. Just brutal personal attacks.
That said. We cant stop the outsourcing and dumping. Today is biilions from India and china and tomorrow rest of billions from rest of world (like Africa and rest).

Is there certain minimum "safe" numbers of days one has to stay with the sponsoring company after getting the EB Green Card.
In my case I have been working with my employer since Sept-2001 (almost 7 years). My GC labor was started in Dec 485 filed in May and GC approved June 24, 2008.
I was in the middle of changing jobs using AC21 just before my GC got approved, hence this urgency. How soon can I join some my new job ?

I completely agree with amitjoey and willigetgc.
Blaming IV on one hand for the lack of enthusiasm and support from EB3 community and on the other hand - for a stand-still in the Congress when it comes to EB specific bills/laws is inappropriate. And then asking IV to drum up a fake EB3 relief measure to encourage this community is a disastrous way to go.
I recently spoke with one of the admins (reached via contacts page) who gave a very realistic view of how things stand in the Congress and otherwise...and I truly encourage other members to talk to the right folks to get facts rather than getting misled by pure rhetoric. I trust that IV core advocacy wil identify the right bills/legislations to push for and hopefully regional grass-roots members will support those efforts. This Diversity bill might prove to be good practice but we should not have any false hopes. it just gives us another reason to blame IV later on - and IV is the only true platform we have.
Other than that let me just paste the following I wrote on another thread in response to Plainspeak's approach -

The letter specifically focuses on employers (consulting companies) that place their workers at third-party worksites, and suggests that it is necessary to provide copies of relevant contracts to establish that there is work to be performed immediately upon the arrival of these workers, and to establish that the work is at the locations specified in the labor condition applications (LCAs) that underlie these cases.

Further guidance for adjudicators is forthcoming from the USCIS. It will lay out appropriate types of evidence to be requested when an H1B petition does not have complete documentation of the specific work assignment to be performed by the H1B worker. Speculative employment, when an employer's plan is to attempt placing an individual in an assignment at a later date, is not acceptable. When religious conversions are made fundamental right as per constitution the word 'Secularism' became a farce.A farce used by religious groups (that use either terror/deceit,abuse for conversions) and also by Macaulian Indians

By Apr 26, if the LC Sub elimination becomes effective, will USCIS reject all pending LC Sub cases (I mean pending I-140, 485 etc using LC Sub) ?
